To the Daughters Whose Wings are Growing...

Dear Daughter,

You are fearfully and wonderfully made and growing beautifully. Every period of your precious life has already been fashioned by God and this story was written for you.

The story started one day when we noticed a butterfly on the ground that looked broken and lifeless. It made us think about how life can sometimes hurt or feel unfair and confusing.

Like a butterfly, you have magnificent wings - even in stages when you feel more like a tiny egg or a caterpillar with a heavy coat. Or on days, when you wonder if you are strong enough to become who God created you to be.

We are here to remind you that you are created with beauty, strength and purpose and no outside force has the power to decide the destiny of your true wings.

As you read these pages and hopefully write in your journal, we pray that you are encouraged to transform and rise above challenges everyday. May you spread your wings, emerge and pollinate your world with your unique style. Why? Because all daughters are created to fly.
